Water canon hero product for newsXpress newsagency marketing group Christmas

newsXpress Watergardens was the first newsXpress store to receive the newsXpress Christmas range. It was a visual merchandising experiment for our team, creating strong stories to share with other newsXpress members.  All of this was done in a week that we relocated the store to a busier part of the centre and transitioning from 300 sq m to 150 sq m. So, a lot was going on this week.

The result was several key hero displays for Christmas product including this display for the water canon. This photo was shared with newsXpress members weeks ago as part of our VM training kit for making the most of the Christmas opportunity.

In addition to negotiating excellent supply deals, newsXpress helps members unlock opportunities with training, support and guidance to help turn products on the shop floor to money in the bank sooner.

We have newsXpress members reporting excellent sales  of the mains pressure water canon that is one of the exclusive to newsXpress items in our 2012 Christmas range.

One newsXpress location in Queensland sold eleven units in a couple of days, another in Victoria has sold eight in the frirst week.

Having a world first product available exclusively from newsXpress stores is delivering to us a commercially valuable point of difference to our members and to us.

Christmas already at Ocean Grove

newsXpress Ocean Grove went out early with an excellent range of Christmas decoration products from newsXpress preferred suppliers. The display on the dance floor facing shoppers as they enter the business looks stunning. It’s working a treat.

Plenty of newsXpress suppliers provided access to early Christmas shipping, giving our members the opportunity to ensure they got what they wanted when they wanted – so they could make the most of the Christmas season.

The story being told on the shop floor at newsXpress Ocean Grove is excellent not only for the business but also for Ocean Grove shoppers who can have their Christmas decoration needs satisfied without having to drive into Geelong. This is a good shop local message.

Beanie Christmas

newsXpress members are enjoying excellent sales already from the Beanie Christmas floor display unit.

This small footprint stand fits nicely almost anywhere in-store. This makes it work especially as a traffic interrupter … perfect for driving impulse purchases.

newsXpress Maffra has been promoting newsXpress Christmas catalogue lines and other Christmas items with this display in-store.  Since the photo was taken a month ago sales have been excellent, seeing many lines purchased by happy shoppers.

newsXpress provided a core catalogue range to newsXpress stores and made available access to a broad range of suppliers with other Christmas lines ideal for all sorts of retail situations.

Gifts from suppliers like The Pudding Lady, Gadget King, Landmark Designs, ABW, Sklansen and other suppliers have sold very well this Christmas.

newsXpress Yarram had an excellent display of newsXpress Christmas catalogue lines on display in-store and in the window in the lead up to Christmas.

While more than a month old, this photo shows how they were supporting Christmas and making the most of the excellent range of Christmas items in the newsXpress promotion.

Attracting shoppers and riving good sales, this display helped drive good Christmas sales for newsXpress Yarram.

By connecting with brands this Christmas, newsXpress made shopping easier for newsXpress customers. There is a trust of major brands which makes buying decisions easier.

Busy Christmas at newsXpress Ivanhoe

Christmas has been front and centre at newsXpress Ivanhoe for more than a month with this well-stocked (when the photo was taken) display and other displays in-store.

The range of products and use of marketing collateral provided the store with an excitement which it vital to success in the Christmas sales period.

newsXpress members were able to access Christmas related products from more than seventy of our preferred supplier community.  This provided an excellent range from which to choose.
