The Melbourne Member Meeting at the Hilton South Wharf we hosted this week was a packed affair. Twice in the lead up we had to expand room capacity to handle the attendees.
This is the fifth event this week to co-incide with the Melbourne Gift Fair.
The meeting was another training and networking opportunity for newsXpress members., It is the first of six such meetings for members around the country.
Starting next week, newsXpress is hosting a series of capital city member meetings where structured training will be delivered in the newsXpress processes on which members can rely to attract new shoppers and further transform their businesses.
These new sessions will be the fourth opportunity for such face to face member networking and training offered by the group in 2016.

Next week, newsxpress members will be meeting around the country in a series of cluster meetings to talk business. focused on networking, business growth strategies, current data results and other information, newsXpress members love these business-buulding sessions.

Networking opportunities are important to newsXpress members as they present excellent opportunities to share, learn and grow. That’s what happened last week in Canberra with some of our Canberra members. In a beautiful outdoors setting we had some terrific discussions about businesses – learning plenty.
newsXpress this week starts a national tour of member meetings in capital cities and regional centres, meeting with members, sharing insights and unlocking some excellent supplier deals:

After an excellent week of dinners, drinks, networking and supporting each other, newsXpress members have headed home from the busy and fun-filled Melbourne Gift Fair.
In addition to good deals, excellent buying support and many hours of heartfelt friendship contact, it’s back to business turning the wonderful knowledge and sales from newsXpress suppliers into cash in the bank.
One of our suppliers, B.Gentle, the small personal slab business, shared some amazing information that will help newsXpress members make more money than other retailers. Information like this is gold.
Newsagency marketing group newsXpress had a terrific session at the hallowed Kooyong Tennis Club on Tuesday where many prospective newsXpress members came to hear about the group and what we have to offer. Sharing information about the newsXpress difference, newsXpress revealed a comprehensive explanation of opportunities – showing where newsXpress members achieve real gains.
The newsXpress national conference in March this year at the hallowed MCG is set to be a busy and full few days with buying tours, Toy Fair tours and some excellent business sessions fulling the agenda.
newsXpress members are responding to the opportunity by booking early to ensure they lock in the various events that make up the three days in Melbourne.

The cluster meetings are being held on the Sunshine Coast (Nambour), Townsville and Newcastle over the last week of January and the first week of February.

The sessions are not a traditional member meeting, they will be more free-flowing, less formal.

newsXpress has announced another EXCLUSIVE in-store training session for employees of newsXpress member businesses.
This session, later this month on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland will deliver training on visual merchandising and magazine management.
newsXpress members will send employees for the free training which will be delivered in a newsXpress member location. This is the real value of the training – delivering it to the people who directly work in these areas of newsXpress businesses.
The three hour training sessions in magazine management and visual merchandising will deliver skills which enable newsXpress store employees to better serve the businesses in which they work as well as build their personal portfolio of skills. It is practical and valuable training showing off the newsXpress difference.
This training is a new service developed and delivered by newsXpress this year at no cost to newsXpress employees.
newsXpress hosted a terrific member’s meeting in Brisbane earlier this week. The agenda delivered business building opportunities. The small group discussions unlocked more excellent opportunities. We had wonderful support from suppliers, offering great value deals and all throughout the day there were terrific networking opportunities.
newsXpress Halls Head won $500 cash for supporting trade suppliers as the newsXpress Trade Fair held in Perth earlier this week. All newsXpress members buying on the day went in the draw and newsXpress halls Head were the lucky winners of a handy $500 in tax free cash. The cash prize brought another fun element to the day.
The one day newsagency conference newsXpress hosted in Perth earlier this week was well attended and much appreciated based on feedback from participating newsagents and newsagency suppliers. Sharing business building ideas and strategies, the conference showed off the newsXpress point of difference beautifully … showing how membership of newsXpress delivers a different and valuable experience to participating newsagents. Welcoming new members in Western Australia to newsXpress was a real treat.
The Trade Fair which accompanied the one-day conference earlier this week generated excellent business for participating newsXpress preferred suppliers. Covering mobile phones, gifts, greeting cards, stationery, social stationery, educational products, ATMs, My family stickers and a range of other products, the trade fair was a hit with newsXpress members and suppliers, resulting in excellent new business contacts and good sales on the day.
newsXpress Toronto and newsXpress Terrigal Won $500 each at our NSW one-day conference in Sydney yesterday … continuing the stream of winners among newsXpress members as a result of supporting suppliers which support newsXpress. In delivering these cash rewards, newsXpress is sharing fun and excitement at our member meeting series. We appreciate the financial support of our preferred suppliers enabling us to offer these prizes.
