Cheeki coffee mugs in Better Homes and Gardens

cheeki-capp.JPGThe range of Cheeki coffee mugs is featured on the planet page of the latest issue of better Homes and Gardens. With many newsXpress stores offering these environmentally friendly and safe mugs, this is a nice tie in for newsXpress.  In addition to the Cheeki coffee mug range, many newsXpress stores sell the Cheeki drink bottles.  Both items make for great gifts as well as for personal use.

Promoting The Sticker Family in newsXpress stores

the-sticker-family.jpgThe Sticker Family range is well established as part of the newsXpress family of products.  newsXpress members following our placement guidelines see excellent new traffic generated by The Sticker Family.  They also see good basket building sales to shoppers who visit the newsagency to purchase other products.

We love The Sticker Family range as it respects and lifts up the core newsagency customer.  It connects us with our customers and the wider community.  There is a sense of belonging among those with these stickers on the rear window of their cars.

We also appreciate the support from the suppliers of The Sticker Family range.  Corporately and at the newsXpress store level they are a terrific help in leveraging this opportunity for newsXpress.

Diversity Among Preferred Suppliers

newsXpress is proud of the diversity among its community of preferred suppliers.

We are selective about suppliers we bring on, being careful to not cross over product and service offers already covered in the existing preferred supplier suite.

The selectiveness of our approach serves the needs of ourr suppliers as well as our members, delivering the important win win which iss essencial to sustainable and viable newsagent / marketing group / supplier relationships.

This is a tremendous point of difference of newsXpress, the broad range of respected preferred suppliers in our portfolio.  It is another reason newsXpress members enjoy being part of our group.

newsXpress Phonecard a Terrific Gift

newsxpress-phonecard.JPGThe branded newsXpress phonecard offering 25 cent untimed local calls and good value international calls is proving to be a popular gift in all sorts of occasions.  Promoted behind the counter, with international newspapers, with daily newspapers and out the front of the store, the newsXpress Phonecard is proving to be a hit for newsXpress members, driving excellent basket building business.  The bonus is the margin made by newsXpress members.

newsXpress members seeing the most growth have trained their sales team to offer the phonecard as a gift suggestion.  Customers love it as they are giving a gift with a wonderful emotional connection.

Loving magazines in Sunbury

spitfiremagazine.JPGnewsXpress Sunbury Square is showing the people of Sunbury a wonderful range of special interest titles through their magazine of the Week promotion.  They are using this counter campaign to show off range.  Recently, they promoted Spitfire 75 magazine as their Magazine of the Week.  This made a lot of sense given their proximity to Melbourne’s Tullamarine airport and the numbber of flying enthusiasts who shop with them.  In the photo is Rita from newsXpress Sunbury Square, proudly smiling at the counter of their store.

Promoting The Sticker Family on the Counter

sticker-counter.JPGnewsXpress stores are continuing to enjoy tremendous success with The Sticker Family range of My Family stickers.  Thanks to a range of collateral including this counter mat as seen at newsXpress Knox, promoting the range at a selection of touch points in-store is key to driving excellent sales.

The newsXpress Knox team has stories of people buying a card or magazine making an impulse decision to get some My Family stickers on impulse when they see the counter mat.  These stickers are an excellent basket builder.

The structured newsXpress approach, leveraging multiple touch points, to The Sticker Family is one of the reasons we have been enjoying such success nationally.

Promoting the newsXpress Magazine Club Card

untitled.jpgnewsXpress Yarram has been promoting the newsXpress Magazine Club Card on one of their windows.  This promotion pitches the newsXpress Yarram competitively against other retailers selling magazines in town and nearby.  It not only demonstrates the value of shopping at newsXpress it drives loyalty from a department which many newsagents struggle with on a day to day basis.

Using newsXpress provided marketing collateral along with creative representation of a range of titles, the window display presents a terrific message to those walking past on the main street of Yarram.

Promoting the newsXpress magazine Club Card is anther way of leveraging a newsXpress point of difference in this time of the year between major retail seasons.

Promoting the newsXpress Phonecard with Newspapers

npxphonecardwg.JPGnewsXpress Watergardens has been promoting the newsXpress Phonecard with this simple yet highly effective display above foreign newspapers.  Foreign newspaper customers are the ideal target customers for the great value newsXpress phonecard.

The display includes rates and other information to help customers quickly understand the value of the newsXpress Phonecard.

Launched over a year ago, the newsXpress Phonecard is a hit not only with customers who call overseas but also with those who make interstate calls.  The 25 cent untimed local call rate makes the phonecard a high-value product for many customers.

The newsXpress Phonecard is another example of why shopping at newsXpress is good value for our customers.
