Easter at newsXpress Redcliffe

nx_redcliffe_easter.jpgEaster is on show in a colourful display at newsXpress Redcliffe – right from the front of the shop.  The team has created a terrific display of Easter gifts, costume accessories, party items and, of course, eggs.  newsXpress preferred suppliers have provided Redcliffe and other stores with many options from an excellent range of items at great prices.  This is supported with exclusive marketing collateral from newsXpress.

Easter at newsXpress Bairnsdale

bairnsdale_easter.jpgFrom the terrific window display facing the main street through the shop, newsXpress Bairnsdale has really embraced Easter.  They offer an excellent range of Easter cards, soft toys, chocolate and gifts.  They have also made a selection of gift hampers, bringing together several items to make a nice gift.

The Easter display in-store makes buying Easter gifts on impulse easy.  The in-store presentation and the displays are a credit the team at newsXpress Bairnsdale.

From Hallmark Easter cards, to soft plush, gifts and delicious eggs, locals in Seymour will find what they want for Easter at newsXpress Seymour.

Making good use of the newsXpress collateral to signpost the area, the Easter zone has a wonderful feel and is certain to be a terrific success.

Ernest Hillier eggs at Knox City (VIC)

knox_easter.jpgnewsXpress Knox (VIC) is promoting part of its Ernest Hillier Easter egg range on the dance floor at the front of the shop.  This terrific looking display has been up for two days and is already drawing good interest and sales.  We have selected a range of Easter products on the display spanning all ages.  This approach will drive a more efficient basket for the store.

In addition to our Easter colouring competition, we are running a Hallmark sponsored promotion giving away  a Crayola hamper to one lucky customer buying a hallmark licensed card.  This promotion is part of the newsXpress / Hallmark relationship.

Promoting St Patrick’s Day 2010

fhn_stpats_2010.JPGnewsXpress Forest Hill is enjoying good sales success from this St Patrick’s Day display.  In the first couple of days plenty of items have sold including glasses, hats and stickers.

The newsXpress exclusive collateral draws attention to the offer as does the distinctive green colour of all of the items including the Lovatts Colossus crossword.

St Patrick’s Day, while a minor season, is an excellent opportunity for newsXpress stores to have fun, sell some funky products and engage with the extended Irish community.  this community engagement is key to driving sales throughout the year as it makes the business to go-to location for these special occasions and events.

Easter at newsXpress Riverlink

Click on the image to see a larger version of the photo.  This candy egg range range supplements the newsXpress Easter offer. newsXpress does not demand that members take stock only from preferred suppliers, we are glad to see members taking other products which work well for them – like these candy eggs!

In addition to attractive collateral, newsXpress has provided stores with a colouring competition opportunity and an excellent range of gift lines and delicious Ernest Hillier and Newman’s chocolates.

Using the car as the entry box is a stroke of genius!

newsXpress members across the country are reporting excellent interest in the competition and the Back to Work sale.   Our stores will have good marketing databases as well as good and valuable sales from this campaign.

back_to_school.JPGThree newsXpress members on the Gold Coast worked together last month to promote their newsXpress Back to School offer.  The full page colour advertisement in the Back to School supplement of the Gold Coast Bulletin worked well in driving traffic and building brand recognition.

The newsXpress marketing team welcomes opportunities to work with members who want to work together on promotions such as this.  Our design and marketing people have a range of collateral opportunities for each promotion.

Three days left for Back to Work

back_to_work_in_style.jpgAs the newsXpress Back to Work campaign nears its close, many stores are continuing to promote the deals and generating excellent entries in the competition to win a Toyota Yaris. At our own new corporate store, newsXpress Knox, we are enjoying success with this display at the front of the business. It is attracting good traffic and sales.

Back to Work works even outside the work environment. The artwork makes the offer visually appealing regardless of whether there is a shopper connection with work as such.

The feedback on the campaign has been excellent and is encouraging us to look for opportunities already for 2011.

Walking the Sydney Gift Fair

newsXpress is scheduling meetings with members attending the Gift Fair in Sydney this weekend. Our NSW Business Development Managers have generously provided time on Sunday to take members around the fair aand highlight gift oipportunities. This personal service is another way newsXpress helps members expand their businesses.

We have members of our merchandise team at the fair on Monday and Tuesday meeting with suppliers and negotiating deals.
