newsXpress has been running a social media campaign supporting the latest HOT Ink! catalogue. This paid Facebook campaign is in addition to a promotion of the ink offer through hundreds of thousands of home-delivered HOT Ink! catalogues.

The Facebook campaign is an extension of an already successful social media campaign designed to further raise the national profile of newsXpress. The group has already successfully used Twitter and Facebook to drive shopper engagement with our stores around a select number of product opportunities.

The Facebook HOT Ink! initiative was kicked off late last week and in just a few days had achieved an engagement reach of thousands. In using Facebook to promote the HOT Ink! offer, newsXpress is practising what it preaches to its members and doing so solely for the benefit of members … and at no cost to members.

This blog has spent hours off air today following a relentless cyber attack which included script and other changes designed to hut not only the blog but other software running on the server hosting the blog.

Our technical experts have been able to remove the current attack and get the blog back online.

This is the second such malicious attack in a month.

newsXpress members are reporting terrific results from the latest HOT Ink! campaign. The flyer campaign reaching hundreds of thousands of homes has been supplemented by an innovative and exclusive social media campaign reaching many thousands of ink shoppers.

newsXpress continues to innovate with ink, generating new traffic for newsXpress members and a more efficient basket thanks to in-store tactical advice.

The latest HOT Ink! campaign has been supported by the group with free shelf talkers and free customer service cards provided. The customer service cards help newsXpress members provide even better service to ink customers.

Brilliant One Direction display at newsXpress Beechworth

Check out the terrific display created by the team at newsXpress Beechworth promoting the five-part One Direction series from Pacific Magazines. This is an excellent eye-catching display that shoppers can’t miss. The result is more browsing and ore browsing = more sales.

One Direction has generated excellent results for newsXpress members , especially the One Direction titles from Pacific Magazines. Their early engagement with the band / brand and insights shared with newsXpress have helped us leverage the opportunity for members.

Leveraging the LayBy opportunity for newsXpress members

newsXpress has provided members with collateral for promoting LayBys recently. The artwork for two posters was loaded to the member area of the newsXpress website, to give members opportunities for promoting the LayBy opportunity in-store as well as externally.

The LayBy collateral connects with the Christmas 2012 marketing posters already sent to all newsXpress members, using some of the same elements.

Making this available in September gave newsXpress members plenty of time to embrace the opportunity this year.

newsXpress has regularly promoted LayBy at newsXpress member meetings as a terrific way to grow sales – especially in the gift, toy and homewares categories.

Catering to kids

newsXpress Inverloch and plenty of other newsXpress stores are enjoying excellent success promoting Blingles & Micro as part of their toy / gift / plush range in-store.

The floor display units in the photo are terrific for organising product and delivering to shoppers a professional representation of the brand. This helps shoppers purchase more of a line … delivering an excellent result for newsXpress members.

Whether it is floor display units like these or on the wall displays, newsXpress actively works with suppliers to deliver planned placement opportunities to best show off premium brands.

Plush on the floor at Knox

newsXpress Knox City is promoting the Wild Republic range as well as the Gifted Bears on the shop floor with tactical placement of the two display units adjacent to cards in-store.

Placement near greeting cards works in both situations as they are ideal items to be purchased with greeting cards, especially cards for younger people in the case of the Wild Republic products.

newsXpress members first engaged with the Wild Republic line at our national conference earlier this year and the feedback since has been excellent.

Beanie Christmas

newsXpress members are enjoying excellent sales already from the Beanie Christmas floor display unit.

This small footprint stand fits nicely almost anywhere in-store. This makes it work especially as a traffic interrupter … perfect for driving impulse purchases.

Getting out early with collectible products like these Beanie Kids is important as loyal shoppers will appreciate the opportunity to get in early.

Thanks to our relationship with Skansen newsXpress members have stock and are well trained on the collector behaviour – enabling us to make more from the beanie opportunity.
