newsXpress has been selling Max the Dog, a special Beanie Boo designed to raise funds for Autism support. Here’s a video from the US speaking to the charity and the work it does, which is supported by the purchase of Max.
newsXpress supports NSW / QLD flood relief
newsXpress last month donated $1,000 to the official Red Cross NSW / QLD flood relief appeal.
Donations to the QLD and NSW Floods Appeal will help Red Cross to provide vital humanitarian support to the people and communities affected by the floods. Based on ongoing needs assessment in Queensland and NSW and amount raised, that support may include:
- Enabling volunteers and staff to help with evacuations, relief centres and outreach service
- Supporting people and communities to recover and to build resilience to disasters

newsXpress stores are selling Tony, a new beanie Boo, as a fundraiser for MND research. Tony has been made in honour of Tony Oates who passed away recently from MND. Tony was one of the owners of the Australian distributor of Beanie Boos. Ty Inc. created the Tony Beanie Boo to honour Tony and raised much needed funds.
