Great In Store Offers newsletter for February

A week ago, newsXpress members were sent the template for our February In Store Offers newsletter.  Without the need for any special software, newsXpress members are able to tailor this as if it has been produced just for their business.

Our In Store Offers newsletter is just one of several marketing channels developed and supported for the newsXpress retail network across the country.

By publishing this newsletter before the end of the month, newsXpress members are able to produce it for inclusion with customer accounts.

Bic promotion at newsXpress Pelican Waters

pelicanwaters-bic.JPGnewsXpress Pelican Waters is running a promotion for Bic products, a preferred supplier to newsXpress.  Connecting with the high-profile Yogi Bear movie, the promotion could win one lucky newsXpress Pelican Waters shopper a trip to the US.

Through preferred supplier relationships, newsXpress members are given access to a range of opportunities through which they can promote these products to customers.  Competitions like the Yogi Bear competition with Bic are a wonderful was to encourage customer engagement and to show off the local store competing with big retailers with such promotions.

Massive Back to School Outpost at newsXpress Roselands

A different Back to School at newsXpress Knox

knx-bts.JPGCorporate store newsXpress Knox has taken a non-traditional approach to Back to School in the last week with this healthy lunchbox and drinking bottle display facing into the mall.  While there are plenty of school supplies available in-store, we are using this colourful range from Crocodile Creek to attract shoppers to the store.  As the only outlet at Knox City with this range, we wanted to show off a product-based point of difference.

Capped with our newsXpress Back to School poster, we are making back to school more about fashion and healthiness – two messages often lost in the usual Back to School sales pitch.

Seizing the opportunity in Deception Bay

Other newsXpress members have similar stories – where suppliers have been a wonderful help with outposts and temporary leasing opportunities.  Being able to move quickly on opportunities like this is important in retail, especially in shopping centres.

Promoting the helium balloon service

This exclusive Back to School flyer visually connects with the A1 colour posters already provided by newsXpress to member stores for promoting the 2011 Back to School season.

Delivered in a format which can be easily customised at the local store level, this newsletter is a popular way of communicating with shoppers and promoting key items available in-store.

The newsletter is used in a number of different ways including: placement at the counter, placement in a stand at the store entrance, inclusion with customer statements, delivery to local homes, shipment with stationery sold to customers and handed out at local events.

In addition to negotiating newsXpress preferred supplier arrangements, the newsXpress National Merchandise Team has also sourced ancillary products to help newsXpress members leverage party supply sales while our Marketing Team has prepared collateral to promote the offer.

Promoting Australia Day at newsXpress Glendale

The newsXpress National Merchandise Team provided newsXpress members with access to an excellent array of Australia Day collateral last year from newsXpress preferred suppliers.

This Australia Day promotion at newsXpress Glendale will feed in very nicely to the promotions which will be run by newspapers for the national day.

newsXpress helping flood affected members where we can

All resources of newsXpress are focused on helping members affected by the foods in Queensland and northern New South Wales.  Every member of the company from our Business Development Managers through to our Directors has been focused of flood assistance since the first floods in Emerald prior to the New Year.

While many of our members are in the thick of it and not yet able to assess the full impact, we are assisting where requested with answers to queries and help in taking back of back office matters in advance of them getting access.
