It’s an excellent floor unit, easy to move and ideal for driving impulse purchases. The placement of the unit at the entrance to the business has been excellent for customer engagement.

This is another innovative product from one of our terrific newsXpress preferred suppliers.

While it is on the shop floor for Father’s Day, this Sock it to Me stand will work all through the year. These socks are an ideal add on to a greeting card purchase.

Kudos to newsXpress Wetherill Park for engaging in this innovative and basket-building product.

Father’s Day at newsXpress Knox

Shoppers see another Father’s Day display as they leave – the store is using both sides to promote this terrific seasonal opportunity. The display makes excellent use of newsXpress and Hallmark marketing collateral.

Products have been selling well off this display – including Father’s Day cards. It is also working at attracting passers-by into the newsagency from the shopping mall.

Belinda’s Experience Builds Businesses

Following years working in one of our newsXpress stores on the Gold Coast, Belinda Adshead joined our Business Development Manager team, bringing excellent personal and valuable shop floor through to the back office help on a range of issues including merchandising, buying, people management and store processes. newsXpress St Clair Promotes Lovatts Titles

We know from pocket counting experience that Lovatts titles placed next to weekly and women’s magazines will respond by delivering double digit sales growth in most newsagency situations.

Well done to newsXpress St Clair for finding the space for this tactical placement of Lovatts titles.

Smurfs selling out at newsXpress Knox

smurffront.JPGnewsXpress Knox has had to order more Smurf products given the success with the range so far.  In just a few weeks the business has sold out of some lines and the new Smurf movie is still several weeks away.

There is no doubt that the Smurf collectible and fun range has been a terrific success at Knox and many other newsXpress stores … drawing good new traffic and converting this into valuable sales.

This is another newsXpress merchandise success story, delivering commercially valuable results for newsXpress members and preferred suppliers.  And bring plenty of happiness to newsXpress shoppers … this is what will bring them back!

Newsagents Upbeat About Retail

newsXpress is fortunate to have participated in three GNS Market Fairs so far this month and at each we met with many positive newsagents. While media outlets carry stories of doom and gloom, we have met with plenty of newsagents enjoying growth and loving making changes in their businesses to improve efficiency and drive sales.

We love this. Creating your own success is important. It’s something we discuss often at our newsXpress member meetings.
