Elliot Goblet confirmed for newsXpress conference

newsXpress is bringing in business conference MC expert and comedian Elliot Goblet to host our national conference next month in Melbourne.  The award-winning Goblet is already studying up on newsXpress to help make the day unique as well as fun, to ensure that we offer not only a memorable experience but one which is truly valuable to the newsXpress members and supplier who share the event.

The newsXpress national conference next month is set to have more newsagents in attendance than any other newsagent conference in the last year except for the Connections conference in Sydney last year.  We have now passed 150 newsagent representatives booked.  This does not include suppliers.    This will be a wonderful and valuable business-building event, one which is sure to provide excellent ideas for business growth in 2012.

The team from newsXpress Knox City in Victoria is promoting the large Cooper plush bear from hallmark on a swing high above the Valentine’s Day display.

This bold display is drawing new traffic from the mall into the store, helping to drive sales of other Valentine’s Day products in the business as well as general products.  Putting Cooper on a swing makes him more appealing than just plonking him on or in a display.  It provides context which helps make him a more appealing purchase.

A competitor of newsXpress has again spammed members by sending unsolicited emails after we issued a cease and desist notice. This communication reaches spam regulation in Australia and speaks to their disregard for respect of the individuals they have attacked and the spam laws.

While it is flattering that we so desperately want to connect with our members, we are disappointed that they have abused email in this way.
