Honouring Garry Angus

As a mark of respect for and in honour of the life of Garry Angus, newsXpress will not be posting any blog posts or sending business emails to newsXpress members today.

Garry’s funeral is being held today at t 1:30PM at St. Kilian’s Catholic Church, McCrae Street, Bendigo.

Garry was an active newsXpress member, operating newsXpress Pall Mall in Bendigo.

Garry was a good friend to many in the newsXpress family.

Many newsXpress members are in Bendigo for today’s funeral, to support Garry’s family and to farewell a good mate.

Scary Halloween display at newsXpress Whittlesea

Lego success reinforces the value of brands

newsXpress Pakenham is enjoying success with their Lego themed production based on products sourced from newsXpress preferred suppliers.  In the excellent display is a terrific mix of products including the licensed and exclusive to newsXpress Lego boxed Christmas cards.

newsXpress has been promoting brands to newsagents for years, explaining the value long term of brand support compared to the patchy and unreliable business you get from cheap China product.  Sales results back this up.  This is why displays like the newsXpress Pakenham team are doing around the Lego brand are important.  being known as a brand destination connects your business with trust and this will bring shoppers back.

Raising funds for the RSPCA with boxed Christmas cards at newsXpress

newsXpress stores across Australia are raising money for the RSPCA through the sale of specially marked boxed Christmas cards.  The designs of our boxed Christmas cards, which are exclusive to newsXpress, are part of a commercial and socially responsible campaign for Christmas 2011.

This campaign further shows off the newsXpress difference and promotes not only quality and enjoyable products but also supports a charity which does important work in the Australian community.

newsXpress has provided collateral to stores for promoting the RSPCA fund raising connection.  We are being transparent on exactly how much money from each box of cards sold goes to the RSPCA.
