Macca visits newsXpress Toronto

macca.jpgIan ‘Macca” McNamarra from ABC Radio’s Australia All Over visited newsXpress Toronto on Thursday promoting his latest book – Say G’Day.  The Lakes Mail newspaper had the story and a couple of photos.

Macca’s visit was a coup for newsXpress Toronto and generated plenty of trafffic for the store and kudos for the newsXpress brand.  Well done to Andrew and the team for organising this.

Rob McGregor has been delivering newspapers for 52 years and the folks at the Herald Sun covered this achievement online on Thursday and yesterday in the newspaper.

Melbourne Cup celebration at Ascot Vale

ascotvale-cup.jpgThe team at newsXpress Ascot Vale got in the Melbourne Cup spirit this week with jockey outfits replacing their traditional newsXpress uniforms.  Being the closest newsagency to the hallowed Flemington racecourse where the Melbourne Cup is run, it is fitting that the Ascot Vale team got behind the carnival.  It looks like they had fun on the day!

Promoting gift cards and ink

nx-knoxposters.JPGnewsXpress Knox is promoting the HOT Ink! sale and the Blackhawk gift card range at the entrance to the store with a couple of in-house printed A2 posters.

The Gift Card poster in particular has driven a measureable increase in sales. With ink it is harder to tell because of the flyer campaign which is currently on foot.

newsXpress provides the artwork for these in-store posters so that stores can print to the size which suits their needs: A4, A3 or A2.

At newsXpress Knox, the posters are changed every week, cycling between newsXpress collateral and key product collateral. In deciding what to promote in these highly visible locations, we select products and services which will attract new traffic to the business.

newsXpress Young opens Optus agency in-store

The launch was supported by newsXpress preferred supplier, Jenlist.  The customers were excited and the local radio station, 2LF, broadcast details of special offers from the store.

It was a great launch with a sausage sizzle out front – driving a wonderful community spirit.  Congratulations to everyone at newsXpress Young for delivering the Optus agency to the town.
