The newsXpress one-day conference / member meeting in Sydney yesterday presented an excellent range of supplier opportunities … special offers from newsXpress preferred suppliers helping newsXpress members buy better and drive excellent impulse and core business. We love the support from fourteen of newsXpress preferred suppliers for supporting the trade displays accompanying this round of meetings.

The meeting component of the one-day newsXpress conference in Melbourne yesterday was packed with plenty of business building content.  newsXpress members engaged terrific discussion and were able to access excellent and practical take-away content. Through the course of the day there was an excellent mix of sessions sharing valuable insights for the short to medium term as well as into the future.

Our newsXpress member’s Meeting in Melbourne on Thursday this week we were presented with an excellent in-depth workshop on making money in the extended party category. The workshop was run by Sanbrook Brands, a newsXpress preferred supplier and the dominant supplier in Australia in this space. The workshop was followed by a factory tour, further enhancing the product knowledge of newsXpress members.

The meeting also included an excellent presentation from newsXpress National Merchandise Manager Rob Henderson on strategic visual merchandising (see photo).  This delivered exclusive to newsXpress content on how to take preferred supplier product and newsXpress collateral and create compelling and basked building product displays.

Rich content like that presented in Melbourne two days ago demonstrates the total business value offered by newsXpress.

newsXpress newsagents met in Brisbane on Tuesday of this week for a day of terrific business building sessions including this excellent presentation on how to make money from calendars presented by newsXpress preferred supplier Browntrout.  The action packed agenda covered a broad range of topics, demonstrating the value of the newsXpress approach to backing excellent supplier deals with strategies and tactics which newsXpress members can use to drive better business outcomes.

This is the newsXpress difference, taking great product deals, supporting this with excellent and innovative collateral and backing it with training which enables stores to during the products and collateral into cash in the bank.  The whole of business approach by newsXpress is loved by members who engage and bank the results.

newsXpress exclusive member meetings for July start next week.  This round will feature terrific supplier deals, newsXpress exclusive business development strategies and an opportunity great newsXpress networking.

The meeting start at 10am.  The early arrival is an opportunity to check out supplier deals.

A key feature of our regular member meetings other than group discussions about new marketing initiatives, the sharing of business ideas and networking is the presentation of supplier offers and deals, some exclusive to newsXpress.

A range of products for Father’s Day, Christmas and general sale from preferred suppliers such as Cheeki Trading, Ikon Collectibles, Hallmark and Arlec was presented and keenly sought by members as they recognised the value of group trading terms and ‘new money’ categories.

The photo to the left shows several Queensland members milling around a table of sample products, the important part of this interaction is the ability to see and feel the product rather than purchase blind from a catalogue or on a sales reps advice.

The newsXpress members meeting in Victoria yesterday was a full house with more than forty members participating in a terrific business discussion, networking and checking out some excellent product deals. Ernest Hillier kindly provided is space at their North Coburg facility. They followed the meeting with a guided tour of the factory.  This member meeting tour is helping us better connect with key newsXpress suppliers like Ernest Hillier.

The meeting was following by a tour of the Ernest Hillier factory tour where our team members got to see how this wonderful company makes their much loved chocolates. It was good to see so many skilled people working creating the chocolates by hand.
