newsXpress members are getting behind the latest issue of marie claire magazine not only because of the magazine’s national campaign in pursuit of marriage equality but also because of the wonderful gift of 20% off  Napoleon Perdis lip gloss with each copy of the magazine sold.  newsXpress members are promoting this issue of marie claire in additional locations to make the most of the opportunity of the higher profile of media attention for this issue. We are hearing excellent reports of sales growth as a result of the inshore and media activity.

newsXpress Wetherill Park has been making the most of the cash prize promotion with the latest issue of Zoo magazine with this terrific aisle end display promoting the title. It’s a bold and hard to notice display sure to drive impulse purchases of the title.

Launching TECHlife magazine

newsXpress Knox, one of our corporate stores, is supporting the launch of TECHlife magazine from ACP magazines with this counter display promoting the title. The store also has stock located in the technology section of the business.

TECHlife is aimed at people who use technology such as the iPhone, iPad and the Galaxy Tab every day. This is a more consumer focused title than other technology titles – hence the value of promoting it at the sales counter as they are doing at newsXpress Knox.

The newsletter is provided to newsXpress members well in advance of the start of each month and it carries content which supports newsXpress preferred suppliers.

Check out the display created by the team at newsXpress Caboolture in Queensland for promoting the BRW Rich 200 issue of BRW magazine.

This fantastic display faced shoppers as they entered the business, delivering a high impact for the special issue of BRW.

Created entirely in-store by the Caboolture team, the display is something of which all involved can be most proud.

newsXpress regularly receives confidential sales data from a range of supplier partners. This data is provided on a confidential basis and is therefore not published here or elsewhere.

Just this last week we have received data from a major supplier showing newsXpress stores achieving double the growth over other newsagencies.  This growth has been achieved with newsXpress stores not having to spend any extra money – all the marketing was newsXpress and supplier funded.

So, newsXpress members have increased the dollars they bank by a greater percentage than other newsagencies. This is the newsXpress difference … more money in the bank as a result.

The products have been carefully selected and thoughtfully prices. Our member merchandise committee has also been briefed to provide an opportunity for gathering opinions.

In selecting exclusive product for newsXpress members, the newsXpress merchandise team has been careful to source products which fill gaps in the current preferred supplier product range. The result is valuable range extension and appreciated traffic generation from exclusivity.

newsXpress St Clair, like other newsXpress members who were provided stock, are promoting The Australian Women’s Weekly Queen’s Jubilee souvenir edition in a high traffic location in-store.

Sales have been strong with many customers purchasing the one-shot on impulse.  Counter placement has proved to be ideal for this title – especially counter placement where the counter is given over to promoting the title. Well done newsXpress St Clair!

newsXpress and Coca Cola officially launched a wonderful deal for newsXpress members at our national conference in Melbourne in March. newsXpress members have embraced the opportunity and brought Coke products in0store thanks to the generous support from Coca Cola. The result is incremental business for newsXpress members and incremental business for Coca Cola.

The newsXpress merchandise team looks for commercial opportunities which make sense and which are true to our commitment to widely recognised brands. The Coca Cola offer and relationship meets these requirements.

The team at newsXpress Bairnsdale has put together a terrific display from newsXpress preferred supplier Educational Colours and their product Triqo.

Triqo is a wonderful creation that any child aged 3- 83 enjoy exploring with. If your imagination is unlimited then Triqo is unlimited.
