Meet Sally Murphy one of the owners of newsXpress Emerald in North Queensland. Sally dressed up as “Roxie the Dalmatian” in support of the RSPCA Happy Tails Day – a fund raising drive supported by newsXpress nationally in association with the RSPCA.
All team members at newsXpress Emerald dressed up as their favourite dog for this day.
Congratulations to Sally and the team for engaging in this promotion in such a practical and fun way.
Halloween makes Main Street Pakenham
newsXpress Pakenham is promoting Halloween in their Main Street window. On the left is a display of Halloween products which is available in-store and on the right is the Halloween mirror, a real feature product for the 2010 Halloween season. Click here to see the mirror in action. newsXpress Pakenham is using the window display to attract people passing by to stop and shop their Halloween range.
Halloween attracts younger shoppers and there are plenty of other products in a newsXpress store to satisfy these younger shoppers.

newsXpress Young opens Optus agency in-store
newsXpress Young has opened a full Optus agency in-store and held a GRAND OPENING on Saturday to launch the Optus range to the people of Young. The launch was supported by newsXpress preferred supplier, Jenlist. The customers were excited and the local radio station, 2LF, broadcast details of special offers from the store.
It was a great launch with a sausage sizzle out front – driving a wonderful community spirit. Congratulations to everyone at newsXpress Young for delivering the Optus agency to the town.
newsXpress at the Gympie Gold Rush Street Parade
newsXpress Gympie was a proud feature of the Gympie Gold Rush Street Parade in the weekend.
Warrick Hosking and the team did newsXpress proud with a strong presence and giving out water bottles and newsXpress caps.
A terrific community spirit and proactive businesses made the Gympie Gold Rush Street Parade a successful event of which newsXpress Gympie was proud to be part.
newsXpress Beechworth embraces Halloween
newsXpress Beechworth is embracing Halloween for the first time with this terrific display in the middle of the high-traffic dance floor. From the newsXpress Halloween marketing collateral to the great range of product on offer, Beechworth is set for some Halloween fun.
As with all newsXpress stores embracing Halloween, the newsXpress national merchandise team has sourced a broad range of products from the regular Halloween offer through to some exclusive lines – all good margin yet at competitive prices. We have backed this up with excellent in-store collateral and out of store marketing.

Fun is front and centre in the Halloween display at newsXpress Ivanhoe in Melbourne. Occupying two large display units on the dance floor, the Halloween range is easily seen by newspaper, greeting card and magazine customers. There is plenty of retail theatre with the display and this is bound to drive a good sales result. Ivanhoe residents are set for a great Halloween this year thanks to the effort and creativity from newsXpress Ivanhoe.
