yarram-windowm.JPGnewsXpress Yarram has run another successful window campaign by framing each of the two front windows to connect with in-store promotions.  The framing is aa teerrific ideas since it does not detract from the view into the store.  In the example in the photo you can see the window promoting the March Book Sale and there, just inside the window, is the display table packed with books from the book sale.  The framing is subtle yet noticeable … very professional.

Macca visits newsXpress Toronto

macca.jpgIan ‘Macca” McNamarra from ABC Radio’s Australia All Over visited newsXpress Toronto on Thursday promoting his latest book – Say G’Day.  The Lakes Mail newspaper had the story and a couple of photos.

Macca’s visit was a coup for newsXpress Toronto and generated plenty of trafffic for the store and kudos for the newsXpress brand.  Well done to Andrew and the team for organising this.

The Christmas and other books have been heavily promoted in the newsXpress Merry Giftmas catalogue which newsXpress members have bene using in-store as well as being distributed to homes nearby.

Hallmark recordable storybooks at newsXpress Riverlink

riverlink-storybook.jpgTwo helpful team members from Hallmark were on hand recently at newsXpress Riverlink, located in the Ipswich Riverlink Shopping Centre, to demonstrate the new storybooks from Hallmark.  These recordable storybooks are proving to be very popular with customers, especially once they are shown how they work with an in-store demonstration.

newsXpress has been promoting the Hallmark recordable storybooks to members for months, we were part of the initial order organised through Hallmark for their major retail partners.  Like all offers pitched by newsXpress, participation by newsXpress members was optional – this is how newsagents like it.
