The original Slow Cooker title was a runaway success for newsXpress stores – ACP has to airfreight extra stock in just for us, to satisfy newsXpress shopper demand! Will we repeat that sales success with this new title? We hope so. Slow Cooker 2 is packed with new recipes, delicious recipes with which to tempt family and friends.

newsXpress members are being tactical in placement, promoting the title in high traffic areas where it is most likely to be purchased on impulse. They are also supporting this with excellent promotional displays as shown in the photo.

newsXpress members were proactive with Slow Cooker 2 prior to publication thanks to a pre-order campaign promoted to members. the pre-order form enables newsXpress members to take orders and get payment prior to the title actually going on sale.

With supermarkets not set to get Slow Cooker 2 for weeks yet, newsXpress members are making the most of the opportunity from ACP Magazines.

The ACP cookbook range is an important part of the magazine mix in a newsXpress newsagents. Our goal is for members to carry all current titles which is usually around 25 titles of the regular format and a similar number of the smaller format titles.

Last night, newsXpress promoted our retail network as the go-to place for the new Girlfriend One Direction one shot which comes out Monday and the 2013 One Direction calendar which we provided stores with pre-order forms for last week. Our tweet was sent to 38,591 One Direction fans. Then, it was re-tweeted and tagged as a favourite by many … getting the newsXpress name and message spread far and wide.

We are the only newsagency marketing group engaging with this valuable, passionate and super friendly group of shoppers. We are proud of our innovation.
