anybook.JPGThe team at newsXpress Mornington Central is having great success with the Franklin AnyBook – another newsXpress innovative product.  They have created a good display with a poster positioned next to the product.  Sales have been excellent!  This store is located next to an Angus and Robertson store which does not carry this product.  They are co-operating with newsXpress Mornington by directing customers their way.  The Franklin AnyBook gets newsXpress into the interactive reading experience and further shows off our commitment to product innovation for newsagents.

Plants and magazines sell well at newsXpress Young

newsXpress Business Development Managers see local store initiatives such as this in their visits and share them with other stores through email and their face to face visit cycle.  Connecting newsXpress stores by sharing ideas like the success at newsXpress Young is another part of the newsXpress difference.

newsXpress Young opens Optus agency in-store

young-optus.jpgnewsXpress Young has opened a full Optus agency in-store and held a GRAND OPENING on Saturday to launch the Optus range to the people of Young. The launch was supported by newsXpress preferred supplier, Jenlist.  The customers were excited and the local radio station, 2LF, broadcast details of special offers from the store.

It was a great launch with a sausage sizzle out front – driving a wonderful community spirit.  Congratulations to everyone at newsXpress Young for delivering the Optus agency to the town.

Swill & Quill a success at newsXpress Albany

Swill & Quill was a 1920’s themed cocktail party we held instore in conjunction with the opening night of the local writers festival. A massive amount of work transformed the bookstore into a truly amazing space filled with heaps of interesting going ons.

Terrific innovation which connected with the community, supported a local cultural event and enhanced the profile of the store.

Slow cooking at newsXpress Streaky Bay

streakybay-slowcooker.jpgThe two dishes cooking in-store at newsXpress Streaky Bay (SA) gave the shop a warm and comforting smell and helped sell more copies of the Slow Cooker and other cookbooks from the ACP range.  The display led to good impulse purchases as well as providing Sue and the famile with dinner that night!

One additional book on the display was The Aussie dumb a&$e cook book, a cookbook aimed at blokes. newsXpress Streaky Bay has sold  75 of these at $24.95.

Gifts integrated with cards at Port Lincoln
