Better Homes and Gardens is a top selling magazine in newsXpress stores. It is a particularly successful magazine on Sundays and all through the weekend.

The newsXpress members who do best with the title take a multi-layered approach to promoting the title.

The most success comes when newsXpress members promote: in-location, with newspapers and at the counter. This gives shoppers three opportunities to see the title.

Text message campaign drive magazine supper traffic

newsXpress members are loving the traffic they can generate using the text message campaign tools in the Pacific Magazines nexus marketing tool suite. Was partners with pacific in this excellent suite of tools, all newsXpress members have access regardless of size. Delivering the text message and other marketing told to newsXpress members arose the entire group delivers a wonderful benefit not only for each of our retail locations but also for our friends at Pacific. They understand that the stronger and more successful our businesses are the more successful they are as a key supplier of top-selling magazine titles.

newsXpress members use the marketing tools to promote pacific and non pacific products. The example on the left is a general magazine promotion used by our Knox store to drive overall magazine sales with the lure of a free gift with purchase.

Clever promotion of The Block magazine

newsXpress Knox City in Victoria has been driving excellent results for The Block magazine with a display on the lease line facing into the shopping mall.

The display was doubly valuable to the business thanks to placement on the rear of the stand – so that the title is promoted to shoppers as they leave the business. The photo shows the rear of the stand.

Promoting iconic brands at the front of the business in this way when interest in the brands is at its peak helps not only drive sales but also drive traffic to the business.

The display will have been up and in this premium position for two weeks by the time it is taken down.
