Using props as they have brings the display alive and makes it different to the traditional magazine display using just posters and magazines.

With food titles especially, including food or props has become essential for the display to drive good incremental business for the title being promoted.

Using newsXpress provided marketing collateral along with creative representation of a range of titles, the window display presents a terrific message to those walking past on the main street of Yarram.

We like the display because it is bold, eye catching.  It takes the Royal Wedding story off the page and presents it is a fun yet respectful way.  It celebrates not only the wedding but also the Woman’s Day coverage.

Kudos to everyone at newsXpress Ocean Grove for conceiving and creating this display, especially to the bride for giving up her wedding dress.  There is no truth in the rumor that the dress is Cathy’s – one of the owners of the business.

Mother’s Day at newsXpress Umina

This is excellent use of newsXpress materials, demonstrating a tremendous point of difference for newsXpress salamander Bay over other retailers in their centre.  The collateral enabled them to promote the magazine in a range of locations.

Selling My Kitchen Rules at the counter

The simple counter placement is another example of the newsXpress attention to detail with its multi-faceted approach to magazines, leveraging popular titles like MKR for excellent basket building business.

Magazine Display of the Week: Birthday Cake Cookbook in Beechworth

By giving over the whole window to a display for the book, the newsXpress Beechworth team was able to create a stunning and commercially valuable display, something which looked great on the main street of the town.

newsXpress has encouraged members to get behind this title.  The result has been excellent incremental business.  We identified the title as a valuable basket building opportunity as soon as we heard it was to be republished.  We were certain that the 25 year old title would tap into the strong interest in nostalgia..  We were right and many newsXpress members have been banking the results of our advice since.

This display at newsXpress Beechworth is our Magazine Display of the Week because it is bold, professional and appealing.

Magazine Display of the Week: Ballarat!

cake-ballarat.JPGWell done to the team at newsXpress Ballarat.  What a stunning display for the Children’s Cake Book from ACP.  This is our newsXpress Magazine Display of the Week.  Not only is the display wonderful for the product, it looks very tasty with the cakes on display.  talk about interacting with the product!  This is a benchmark display as it demonstrates commitment to magazines and engagement beyond a traditional magazine display.

newsXpress the first group to seize the opportunity of the classic cake cookbook and as a result we have members who have sold more than 50 copies.  Moth of this has been incremental and impulse business.  It demonstrates the value of our focus on banking margin dollars.

Promoting Prevention magazine in Melton

The new look Prevention magazine from Pacific Magazines is selling very well thanks to high profile high impact displays like this one at newsXpress Riverlink.

I Love Magazines promotion at Merrylands

ilovemags0merrylands.jpgnewsXpress Merrylands hae been promoting the I Love Magazines consumer campaign at the front of the newsagency, facing shoppers in the mall.  This has been an excellent promotion for drawing shoppers into the business – hence the appropriate and valuable placement of the display at newsXpress Merrylands.

newsXpress was fully briefed on the I Love magazines campaign late last year, enabling the group to fully prepare for the opportunity, engage newsXpress team members and ensure that member engagement was leveraged for maximum advantage for our group.  newsXpress stores received easy access to collateral, display units and other materials with which to promote the offer.

At newsXpress Merrylands and right across the newsXpress retail network it has been terrific to see member engagement.  This demonstrates the value of working together on a common goal.  It also shows how we are able to leverage magazine traffic into other sales. It demonstrates a newsXpress difference.

I Love Magazines promotion at East Maitland
