Bright, colourful and aspirational, the display shows off a range of products available from the Watergardens gift department.

This display is another example of leveraging newsXpress preferred supplier products and presenting the business in a more creative and attractive light than shoppers might expect to see in an average newsagency situation.

newsXpress Watergardens enjoys excellent card, wrap and packaging sales, in part due to the excellent displays created and managed by Renee and her team.

While perfect for a seaside newsagency, like newsXpress Ocean grove, this display could work equally well in any newsXpress location.  People will purchase for their beach houses, their friend’s beach houses and to bring a beach theme to their own home – no matter where they are located.

Customers entering a newsagency with this display in place will bee sure to notice it as it is so different, so unlike what one would expect to see in a newsagency.

Integrating Gifts with Greeting Cards

This is an innovative move, a break from the traditional approach to card retailing one sees in newsagencies. Well done to the team at Leongatha for making the move and also for the selection of gift to card adjacencies.

newsXpress has seen this integration done in some other newsXpress locations with tremendous success. More are sure to follow.

Fizzy Moon range at Sorell in Tasmania

Mother’s Day at newsXpress Ocean Grove

Mother’s Day at newsXpress Nerang

The result of the displays and other promotional activity has been good sales.  Like many newsXpress members, newsXpress nerang likes that they have been able to promote that one of their customers will win a Kobo e-reader … a valuable and appealing prize.

This newsXpress Riverlink Mother’s Day gift selection coupled with the wonderful Mother’s Day cards and gifts displays in store are helping drive sales for the season.

The Riverlink shopping centre in was affected by the Queensland floods at the start of this year.  Retail is still building following the devastation wreaked by the floods not only here bit right across the state.
