newsXpress announces live in-store radio
newsXpress and Retail Radio have joined forces to create newsXpress Radio, an exclusive to newsXpress in-store customer entertainment and advertising platform.
Delivering live news mixed with music, newsXpress Radio will provide a platform off of which newsXpress and its preferred suppliers can help drive incremental sales.
Unlike other in-store radio offers, newsXpress radio will be live between 7am and 6pm. This will ensure up to date real news bulletins. It will also facilitate timely coverage of events in a way which helps drive weekly magazine and daily newspaper sales.
newsXpress radio is another way newsXpress is demonstrating its difference over buying groups. Great buying is no good if this is not backed by strategies which move product. newsXpress has both bases covered.

Supporting the launch of Prevention magazine
newsXpress is helping its members support the launch of Prevention magazine next week with the development of a pre-launch flyer for use on the counter and elsewhere in our retail network. Support for launches, such as what we are doing for Prevention, is another way newsXpress helps its members separate their offer from other newsagencies. Our marketing team seizes opportunities for initiative to drive sales and present a more exciting and valuable newsagency experience.
This is the newsXpress difference on show.
Father’s Day Book Sale a hit
newsXpress members are reporting excellent results from our FATHER’S DAY BOOK SALE. The brochures are driving great traffic to newsXpress stores. This is a key goal of our marketing campaigns – helping newsXpress members attract new customer traffic.
While this campaign is targeting Father’s Day, the mix of books is appealing to a broad range of consumers – such as the slow cooker recipe books in the photo. It is the breadth of appeal which is a key factor of the success of the campaign.
