Promoting St Patrick’s Day 2010
newsXpress Forest Hill is enjoying good sales success from this St Patrick’s Day display. In the first couple of days plenty of items have sold including glasses, hats and stickers.
The newsXpress exclusive collateral draws attention to the offer as does the distinctive green colour of all of the items including the Lovatts Colossus crossword.
St Patrick’s Day, while a minor season, is an excellent opportunity for newsXpress stores to have fun, sell some funky products and engage with the extended Irish community. this community engagement is key to driving sales throughout the year as it makes the business to go-to location for these special occasions and events.
The newsXpress marketing calendar presents plenty of opportunities like St Patrick’s Day.

This candy egg range range supplements the newsXpress Easter offer. newsXpress does not demand that members take stock only from preferred suppliers, we are glad to see members taking other products which work well for them – like these candy eggs!
Easter at newsXpress
The collateral for Easter 2010 from newsXpress is different to what shoppers usually see in a newsagency. It links with the newsXpress collateral standard released last year and presents a happy greeting for the season. It has been developed specifically for newsXpress.
In addition to attractive collateral, newsXpress has provided stores with a colouring competition opportunity and an excellent range of gift lines and delicious Ernest Hillier and Newman’s chocolates.
